I thought of this a couple weeks ago…I don’t guess it’s all that original of an idea, but I just HAD to do it. Anna is quite the little chunk, so it took a sizeable pumpkin. Mark and I saw this particular pumpkin while we were working in Paris earlier this week. Just a guy selling pumpkins on the side of the road. It was a little pricey, but we had had a hard time finding one large enough. It turns out, we probably got one a little (or a lot) bigger than we needed! Anyway…The ones with the black background didn’t turn out all that well I don’t think. My lighting was off. The ones outside are better. I was working on getting proper exposure in manual mode with my DSLR. I really like how they turned out…now if I could only get her to smile in a picture! Incidentally, these are her 4 month pics. She was 4 months old yesterday. Say it with me, “I CAN’T BELIEVE SHE’S THAT OLD ALREADY!” Ok, on to the pics:

And this was Anna’s favorite part of the shoot. EATING the pumpkin! LOL She seemed to really enjoy it! Too cute!

She is such a doll and those big blue eyes. She must have enjoyed the gnawing on the pumpkin ’cause there is a speck on pumpkin on her lip in one of the pictures.

I have been showing your phtos around, they are a big hit with everyone…. the other day I was having lunch with Tom and Joan Moores… I had printed 2 or 3 out for Joan to see… a waitress came by, saw the photos, and scooped them up giggling and showed them the the rest of the restaurant staff.
You should consider doing a phtot thing. Maybe once a month or by appointment only I belieeve you have real talent for this.
